RE-RITE coming to Dortmund

Following successful installations in London, Leicester and Lisbon, the interactive project RE-RITE will be resident in Dortmund in October/November 2011.

This award-winning digital installation allows members of the public to conduct, play and step inside the Philharmonia Orchestra with Esa-Pekka Salonen through audio and video projections of musicians performing Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring.

“Being inside an orchestra, experiencing the sensation of 101 players taking on this iconic music is one of the biggest adrenalin rushes, and one that I want to share with the world. Now we're doing just that.”  says Esa-Pekka Salonen.

The installation will open its doors on 29 October and run until 20 November 2011.
