esapekkasalonen: @leifpagrotsky Det är en avskalad, enkel och ren men sensuell produktion tycker jag. Väldigt starka reaktioner hos publiken oftast.

Esa-Pekka Salonen just opened the Philharmonia Orchestra's 2011/12 London season with Sibelius’s epic ‘choral symphony’ Kullervo.
In his fourth season as the orchestra’s Principal Conductor and Artistic advisor, Esa-Pekka Salonen will also conclude the pan-European Bartók retrospective “Infernal Dance: Inside the World of Béla Bartók” with concerts in 9 European cities, featuring a semi-staged production of “Duke Bluebeard’s Castle”.
Other highlights of the 2011/12 season will include the inauguration of a Beethoven symphony series and the launch of “Universe of Sound: The Planets”, an immersive digital installation and keenly-anticipated follow-up to its virtual orchestra, RE-RITE, which will sit at the heart of the Philharmonia’s contribution to the London 2012 cultural celebrations.
